New Year's Eve...

I was running late as usual... Meeting Xinyi at Cityhall... Did anyone realise i been at Cityhall 3 days in a row... We went to milenia walk ok i don't remember the spelling... I got starburst... The culprit that made me have to remove a wisdom tooth that is useless anyway... Anyway, along the year which happen to be in november i got 2 other wisdom tooth remove... So i guess i am getting more stupid then getting anyway cleverer... I got 2 of them remove together cos i was thinking once and for all better n its on the same side... I was thinking it shouldn't be too bad as its normal removal no need operation... The last time wasn't even painful... But after a day or 2 I wonder what was i thinking at the time? Ok got carried away...

After getting starburst, we went to k box... Both of us... Although, we each select a song at first... Eventually, i think i end up singing more... There was once i think i sang about 4 songs in a row cos between got hers and she ask me to sing with her... I went like i hope next one isn't mine...

Saturday...

I went to crystal shop... Spend few hours there trying to choose what i want to get and make... Eventually, i decide to make earrings and bracelets... After that, i met my mum and we had dinner at soup spoon... Before heading to orchard, I bought a new dress for chinese new year...

Meeting with Jelyn...

Friday's stocktake was pretty easy... The person knows the location of the stock very well... The things are also very easy to count as its a lighting company so what i count was light bulbs, light fittings and etc... Was pretty satisfied with myself for spoting a 50 watt bulb in a bunch of 60 watt... The people that was counting with me was like wow so little difference u also can spot...

In the evening, i was rush off work by our dear Xinyi cos she got early release n we are meeting our coursemate Jelyn... Both of us went shopping before we meet Jelyn... I got no return but XY got a top... We had dinner along Liang seah street... We had vietnamese... 1st time since i return... I miss westend beef noodle in brissy... After dinner, we went to Raffles city and had Ben and Jerry before going back home sweet home...

Thursday, I went stocktake this morning... Finally, it didn't rain... Location was best near my house... Only 10 mins away can sleep in a bit... They gave me the stocklist few days before... Look throught them and found the word topaz, sapphire and carat on it... This company sell watches and not any cheap kind... So i thought it will be jewellery kind of carat maybe put into the watch... Guess its gonna be easy to count job...

To my disappointment, i wasn't gonna count jewellery but some rolls of blankets which isn't those that u sleep at night with but rolls of maybe paper or cardboard which i have no idea for printing purposes like to make the paper glossy or nicer in colour... He said that it plays a part in production of magazines... It wasn't easy to count... Cos they gave me the quantity in metres but the stock isn't written in metres and have to calculate it into metres...

Its not much help that the warehouse was hot... The person that brought me to count isn't sure where the things are... He and the storekeeper smokes really horrible cigarettes... I kept holding on to my jacket cos i didn't like the smell and could use it to cover my nose so i can breath...
But know what the guy that was bringing me to count asked: "Are you cold?" I want to tell him i just can't stand the smell of ur cigarettes but it wasn't nice so i mention that i just needed somewhere to put my handphone cos i didn't have a pocket which was true... Finally, all is done at around 12 plus... But when i got back to office it was raining cats and dogs...

Ms UmBrElLa n Ms JaCkEt...

Weather has been bad for not few days but WEEKS... I totally dislike this weather... Go where also have to bring my new friend... Ms Umbrella... Not only is weather bad... My office weather also bad... Few weeks ago, someone turn down the temperature of our office building making the temperature freezing plus the rain... Now i got 2 new friends... Friend number 2 Ms Jacket...

Last weekend, i've been craving for peaches... So i went to get one can... But to my horror, when i open the can i saw the peaches very small... Firstly, i thought maybe the peaches got shrinked... But one mouth and i realise that they are not peaches at all... Its Apricot N not nice... Gone are hope of satisfying the crave for peaches... Where is my big n nice peaches... Blur... Buy the wrong item also never realise...

Not only peaches... I have a craving for watching cantonese drama... TVB shop... I browse and browse through the brochures but hardly find any that i like... My fav actor have a new show but its in the shanghai years which i don't like... I'm a bit picky on which actor and which show i want to watch... Finally, I borrowed a TVB drama 潮爆大壮 which my cousin say she watched and nice... I finish it over the weekend plus christmas holiday... Waiting for another show to finish coming out so that i can borrow the full set...

Bad Luck Wednesday

Wednesday, I got to go cashcount at sembawang country club at 9 am and its drizzling...
The weather isn't the only thing... The cab that i and my colleague got on didn't know the way and he didn't tell us... It's not like i and my colleague are gonna be must help either as the last time i went there was 1 month ago and it's my colleague's first time...He brought us on a wild goose chase... After a while, i saw him driving pass another mrt station which we usually won't pass oh forgot to say we got on at khatib mrt... The route we usually take will pass by flats but i can't see any... Lucky, he finally brought us to where we wanted before nearly driving us to another place which isn't right... The taxi fare cost much more then what we usually pay but luckily he gave us discount... So want kill him... Waste our time and money...

Valco: I Got Stuck, Help Mummy Help!!!

Mummy and mummy's mummy have just return from grocery shopping... Mummy's Mummy decided to redo her front door deco while mummy is keeping up the things they bought... I being a busy body went to the front door n look...

After being bored and not having anyone's attention, i came up with an idea... I think i can get through the front gate... But on second thought, mummy is always saying i am fat... I guess she is just trying to tease me... I so wish to tell her that Mummy I don't think i am FAT... Stop saying that, i am not FAT... All her exaggerations... Don't care her... I gonna try...

So i got myself started... I got my head and hands over the gate then trouble comes... Mummy's mummy notice that i am half over and scream for mummy to come... Oh boy panic hits me... I got to get myself out of the gate before mummy comes and see me like this... I try to pull myself over but my front legs can't reach the floor... Arghh... I got short legs but mummy always says that i got quite long legs... She bluff me.... Sobs...

I saw the look of horror on mummy's face... Oh my i want to hide... Since i can't get over the other side i try to get back in... Now to my horror, I can't get in either... I am stuck in the front door railling... Help... Mummy... Will u be so kind to give me a hand now... I believe you that i am fat... Please just get me out...

Mummy try to squeeze me through but to no available... Daddy came to help... I think he is pretty much useless but on second thought he is in civil defence... I hope he can get me out... Few minutes later, Mummy, I think he is trying to use the chance to kill me... Ouch Ouch... Gurr Gurr... Daddy kept saying to call 995... Oh my is it that bad... He said something about cutting... I wonder if he means cutting me up... Mummy, I really think daddy wants to kill me... Hurry Hurry help me...

Finally, Mummy's mummy came to rescue me... She try to turn my position so that its easier for me to get out... But having no idea what she gonna do and pain i want to bite her... But eventually, it was her and mummy that manage to get me out... Finally freed, got a bit of scolding for trying to bite mummy's mummy... They are all laughing at me being stuck... Ok i did a stupid thing...

X'mas Party...

Today, office have an X'mas party. I finally got my angels crystal handphone accessory done for my colleagues... I gave Wendy the only pink one other then mine... As there were 8 of us then i made 2 for each colour i got... Angel and Dewi gave us chocolates... Angel is so shy when she was giving out her chocolates... Then she miscalculated one... Wendy gave us each a bear... When Ling Sin saw that Shirley had a bigger bear then hers she keep saying Shirley got the big one... Aileen our Boss PA got us each a pencil box and a hair clip...

Boss says that we can have half day... But eventually most of us still left around 5 pm... I went to Kallang to look for Mummy as i wanted to get the NTUC card from her so that i can go buy things... But in the end, i waited awhile for her to get off work then we went to city hall... We went to the crystal shop at south bridge road...

Then we proceeded to dinner at swiss culture @ Suntec... Its expensive... We had a cheese fondue which cost $58.80... It comes with bread and we ordered a sausage to go along with it... Sausage was nice but not the bread... Cos its my b-dae month, we get a free chocolate fondue... This is also part of the reason why i wanted to go try it... We spend a total of 81 plus on dinner... After that my mum got interested in the chocolate fondue thing... So went to Carrefour to look for one but they don't sell it...

X'mas...

Long time never post anything cos i'm too lazy... Don't even know that there is a new version already... Christmas is coming... Tomorrow is office Christmas party, crack my head to find a present... Have to be 20 above, no cups, photo frame, soft toys, towels, etc... So many cannot buy... Then what to get for the others, i have no idea until i walk pass this shop which have crystal handphone accessories so i decided to make them an angel handphone accessory... Still not done yet gonna make 8 but i only done 3 so far and party is tomorrow and what time is now 8 pm...

Wendy gave us present today, got a bear from her which Valco loves... He open my present for me when i wasn't looking... I left it on my side table then went out the room for like 10 mins then walk into my room... So shock to see him dismantling my poor bear...

Valco: This mummy of mine so purposely... She brought back her present n purposely show me... N know what she did she say she loves the bear n not me n ask me to get lost... So to get her back i gonna grab the bear without her noticing and kill it... Hahaha... So she will love me... When she is out of the room, my plan comes to action i got the bear from the side table and start bitting at it...But unfortunely, before i manage to finish the job... She came in and took away the bear from me... I gonna try other ways to get it back from her... Mummy, X'mas is coming r u gonna get valco a present... I promise i be good boy... Please...

Decided to see if my blog is still there and realise that there is a new version... Change it to the new version and then started to write a bit again... I haven decided if i gonna write back the missing months before but i think my memory system isn't that good to rewrite... Actually i am plain lazy lah... I will put back a few postings like my b-dae though...

2nd meeting with Poly friends...

We met up again on 15th december... We went for dinner at bugis @ miss clarity cafe... Then we walk to secret graden but its having a private party so we headed for mr bean at selegie... Don't be mistaken by the name for its a cafe n not those selling soyabean... But no space was available... So we headed for TCC opposite... Bathroom trips was the most horrible... At paradiz centre its quite quiet the security man looks a bit gong gong then i guess he is fat so his clothes doesn't look very tidy... When we went into the bathroom there wasn't even a soul... And when we went out of the bathroom there is this guy sitting outside waiting for don't know who cos there is any gals in the bathroom already... Scary...

At 1 plus, one of my friends came to give her a lift... Firstly, she was shy to ask him to give us a lift but he said it was ok to gave us a lift... His driving skills not very good cos i gave him instruction that there was a side road to turn early but he still made quite a big round... Then when i was getting off, i have no idea why the door won't open and he had to open the door for me... Its not my fault that the door won't open...

B-dae week...

I applied for leave on b-dae week... Cos i also need to clear my leave... The week went pass like a breeze cos i been out on few nights... Monday was spend trying reformat my laptop and clearing the last room that is filled with junk cos earlier on in November i actually changed my bedset and mummy changed her cupboard... Tuesday, i went to Hog's breath at CHIJMES to have dinner with mum and dad for b-dae dinner... Steak was good... Wednesday night was spend with my uni friends... We had dinner and help liwen to find a present for her brother as his b-dae was a few days later... We rush into the marina square nike shop at last minute before they shut but was unable to get what liwen wants... Thurs is spend with my poly good friends... We had dinner and ended with gossip session till 10 plus... Cecilia got us presents for christmas but she never tell us so we went empty handed... We had her set another date so we can give her present... I went to get the present on Friday at Vivocity and had boost juice but it wasn't as nice as Australia's... See one week is gone and monday got to go back office...

Weekend...

Last friday, i spend 10 hrs to paint my room and reorganise my furniture... On the eve of mother's day, i treated her to dinner then to movies... We watch the poisedon... Sunday was spend with my mum visiting her mother with my cousins and aunty... After which they came over to our house to play with valco...

Ms painter...

I think gonna be a painter this weekend... Actually few weeks ago, i wanted to repaint my room but never... But as you can see from valco's posting... I am in be painter... I painted my room about 5 or 6 years ago so now its also time to repaint my room... I like to do certain things by my own hands like cross stitches, painting my own room, jigsaw puzzles,etc... So that i can tell/ show people that its done by me...

Mummy's room got a part of the wall that have the paint falling due to the heat... I went to bite at it and it came off... Ooops... I am in for a scolding... Not only that, recently i've not been a very good boy... I've been shredding papers, tissues and trying to jump on her bed that she eventually put me in the box... But one thing about mummy i get her to do my bidding whenever i whine... Hahaha...

New baby cousin nephew...

My cousin gave birth to a baby boy on 5th May 2006 making me official an aunt... Today, we went to visit her and her baby... He is exactly 23 yrs and 5 months younger then me... Also a baby dog... I think my house have quite a number of us that are born on the 5th and most of us are born in the earlier part of the month...

Me again... Is everyone getting sick of me? Hehehe... Last night,when mummy is asleep i kept my self busy by jumping up the cushion and try to jump on her bed... Today, i can climb the stairs on my own le... When i went downstairs i saw a couple... Being friendly me i walk towards them...But the gal got scared... I so tiny also scared... Shouldn't i be the one scared later she step on me become pancake how??? Today, i saw mummy's daddy for the 2nd time, i like to bite his socks... But 2 days liao i never see daddy don't know where he go...

Leaving the poor baby at home alone makes me worried as he's so tiny only about 10 inches long and 10 inches width ok now he sounds like a cylinder...Got to mention that's when he is full... I haven measure when he is not... He can only sleep for an hr before running around again so that's why his poor mummy me is lagging of sleep all because of him...

Hihi its me again... So sad i am home alone today... Finally after hrs of waiting, mummy finally arrive home... When i hear her, i start to whine... She so bad she went to her room before attending to me so i started to whine even louder... I think i forgot to mention i have a love for whinning too... Especially in the early morning like 2 - 3 am.... My mummy has been lagging of sleep cos of me... Ain't i bad... hahaha.... Last nite, i got scolded for whinning in the middle of the nite by mummy's mummy :( ... She said to leave me in the kitchen for the night but i don't want... My stupid mummy slept like a pig and never come and save me off scolding... So angry... After arriving home, mummy brought me downstairs for a little walk... I met an uncle who played with me then i learned to climb stairs... I think my little legs are getting stronger... Now i'm so tired... zzzzz.... Now u know why i am so alert in the early morning hehehe....

My name is Valco... I am a shih tzu... I am born on valentine's day 2006... I am bit of a scardy cat... I am affectionate... I have a love for wires, paper, tissues, fingers and pants... I love to whin to get attention... I love to sleep with my tummy up... I love eating... I love to jump on my mummy's fingers and run after her... I am energetic after i have my beauty sleep... When i run i will slip and fall as my legs are still not strong enough... I have learn the command of come within a day ain't i smart for a little one like me... hehehe...

My baby Valco....

Last monday on the 24th April 2006 i lost my dog for 9 years... He had heart murmur... He was pretty sad for a few days before he died he didn't have much appetite either... On sunday, i spend 1 hr coaxing him to eat dinner but to no available... He was still alive at 4.30 in the morning cos he was coughing and i called him... I make sure that he was breathing before falling asleep again... But what i didn't know was this is the last time i am going to call him...

I got a new baby on 29th April 2006... Wanted to name it Darco but it got ended up with what u can see Valco... The reason being very simple cos he is born on valentine's this year... He's only about 2 months plus with an australian and american heritage... He cost 880 while marco only cost 700... The bill was split into 3... My bro said why did your get another dog? Then he ended being the one that make his bed, play with him and feed him tibits... First night, he sleep very little usually after 1 hr or so he will get up... At 2 plus, when i want to go to bed he was wide awake and started whinning... So i ended up lifting it on my bed, but i was afraid that i will knock into him or he might fall off the bed that i put him on the floor to roam about on his own...

Sunday, he learn to come... I taught him to come and he learned it... I brought him downstairs for a little walk... Luckily, i brought a dog chocolate along to make him walk towards me... When we went out, he was a little scared but after a while on the way back he is much more cooperative... He loves wires... He go around bitting them... He is also very bu ke qi one he will self service to my fingers and my jeans... Mummy say that he barks cos he tried to pull off mummy's bedsheet but can't so being fed up he barked at the bed but i never hear him bark as i wasn't home...

Monday, he woke me up at 7.05 in the morning when i went to bed at 2 plus again as i went out... I think he can start a valco transportation company as he keeps transporting his food from his bowl to the floor placing them all around... After 2 days i am laggin of sleep that i now have a splitting headache...

World is small...

I think this world seems very small in the end... XY my aussie best friend's friend knows my cousin... We found out one day when we had dinner together n the day was also when my cousin n her friend had a performance together... I so happen to ask what's her bf doing today that we are out... Then she say that he is going to some concert then i ask where n i went i think i went there few years back... My cousin is also performing... Upon a check with him its true that they know each other... I just found that my colleague knows a primary school friend's sister who happens to be a schoolmate too... Nowadays, i really don't know what i want to write or simply too lazy...

Weird people nowadays...

I have a friend who is OTing in the office at 10 pm... This make me remember an incident that happen few fridays before... I was returning from work dressed in a lime green miniskirt... Its broad daylight about 6 plus... N my lime green skirt isn't very short, its one of my longest mini skirts, about 2 inches up from the knee... I went into my house lift and at the very last minute of the lift closing suddenly someone a boy around 19/20 suddenly press open the door... I got suspicious when i ask him which floor he look and told me the same... Because i suspect something about him i purposely let him out of the lift first... He fake to walk and try to slow his pace... When he knows i suspect he try to go downstairs but when he see me go up he quickly follow me... He was walking very near and i could feel him closing up so i turn over and look at him and to my horror i saw that he is slipping his handphone under my skirt trying to take pics or video i have no idea... He saw me turn over he quickly keep his phone and walk upstairs... Nowadays, young people really horrible...

Tomorrow last day at boring job... Today a temp gal was brought in to take over my job... She's so young same year as my brother... JC never teach much about computers so she's not much IT savy... She seems ok but what i am doing is simple as in very simple... Just scanning of leave forms, key in p files into Timespay for new hire which i am not sure if she's gonna do, update personal particulars...

Tomorrow, i am teaching her to update address in the Timespay system... Cos louise is using the computer so i can't teach her anyway don't over load her little brain... She's so cute i asked her what's her expected salary when she grad in future cos she is going into uni then she told me $2500... If its engineering maybe she can get this pay but she said she's not intending to study engineering cos she never took physics...

I think i am born to give people advise... She is interested in biomdeical so i asked her why she never find a temp job in that field then she says its hard to get... As this field has limited companies i told her she should just write in to all the companies n express her interest in the line so she can get a temp job there its like you never write nobody knows that u are interested in the job... N i told her that i might have got my new job cos i emailed them back to ask about the outcome of my application which shows that i am interested in the job...

Now i believe in planning... I used to wait for the opportunity to turn out i learned that opportunities won't turn up unless you look for them... Nothing is drop from the sky, u got to let people know your presence before oppportunity actually arrives... Just like the old saying, No hard work where got harvest... Set a goal and realise it... I set mine to leave my current job by the 17th n true enough it came true... Althought, i should say luck also play quite a bit part...

She's not too bad just that sometimes she scan opposite way... And a bit clusmy, what she put according she can mix a bit up n get them not in order... She gave a piece n told me i don't know who this MC sheet belongs to cos it dropped out from the pile... I have to search 50 over sheets on the pdf file for it...

Anyway, i bought a dress today on sale usually i think it cost 69.90 but its going for 39.90 so i bought it...

Our co got a new temp for a week so i got a talking partner for the week cos we are both doing boring jobs... Got a new account to do... I learn how to set up a company in quickbooks and manage to start keying its invoices for march, april and a bit of may...

Playtime... Break...

Finally, i'm on break this weekend... Saturday night, went to old airport road for supper cos it closing... When to pick my cousin's friend at lucky plaza... And we went round HMV and Taka 2 times... I think the people at balcony r going this 2 people in the car have been going round few times most probably lost their way... Cos he keep taking the wrong lane so we ended up at the same place... Finally, we took the right one and off we went to pick his friend... Then we got lost again and got onto the expressway to East coast park... When we were at the traffic lights turning between gateway and suntec its red light then we were like i think we are on the wrong road... This happen the last time we went to geylang from blastier anyway don't know how to spell then got 3 roads one to cte which is not right and 2 others we were at the very left when we stop and both of us went i think this road isn't right and we quickly reverse into the other road luckily it was red light behind so there wasn't any car coming... We met with road block at AMK when we were returning... First time at road block... Sunday, met Xinyi, Rain and Liwen... We went for taiwan porridge at suntec then we walk carrefour, milenia walk, marina square and ended up at bugis... Finally ended home at 9 plus... Manage to get IRAS form of a company of 18 people done before heading to bed cos i been putting them off since sat cos i went out to play...

Accounts: Finish a set of sole proprietor... Now doing a private limited... This co pay people without recording, the claims by employee and gst so messy...

HR: I learnt how to calculate unpaid leave... Its to take ur basic pay times 12 divide by 52 weeks times 5 days... Perm staff got 1 yrs to clear the leave then its forfeited... Updating the addresses of my co got 2000 over people... The china ones keep changing their address some even gave china address in chinese... But i grow another interest in picking up the phone cos i and a girl sitting behind share the same extension and so i keep myself entertain by picking up the phone... The minstry doesn't allow both husband and wife to hold work permit in singapore... So there are some weird people who write themselves married then single now and what more they claim marriage leave or maternity leave so too bad for them they are staying married... Those that don't claim can be changed to single... I came across this lady who wrote herself widowed then now married... Don't even know if her husband is alive... Haha... Some people write their qualifications wrong like last time was higher now lower weird don't how come can go backwards... I came across a name called shy shy so cute the name...

I think i am more inclined to numbers or i am born to see numbers... I seems to be more alert when dealing with numbers rather then words which are putting me to sleep... After a day at office, i can still go back home and do accounts... After 2 days, i am done with 12 month of sales entry... Got to start to key payments then my mum say this set is done sounds so simple... Keying Amex transaction is troublesome with the visa charges... This sole proprietor never keep the papers properly... I can only find all the UOB ones which is 2% but for Amex some are missing i ended up calculation the % and got 3.1% and whenever i got Amex which have few each month i got to calculate back to the sales...

I am taught to update new hire profile and its so mah fan that i am so fed up with it... I don't know which person is direct and indirect, got allowance or no allowance, exempt or non exempt... So when the person teaching me ask me is it ok then i told her straight can i not do this its too mah fan... Then she told me they are all exempt and indirect making my job simpler then to think which category they belongs too but as if i care...

Then i got to update employees information spend half a day and my hand very suan and i only manage to update less then 200 people and in total there are many many more... Like 2000 over people... These stupid china people keep changing their address... I ask why the company won't just give them lodging then won't have to change...

Now i also know that as Chinese we contribute to CDAC every month 0.50/1 dollar muslim got to contribute 3- 8 dollars with a max of 11 dollars then eurasian have to contribute 8 dollars... I can't remember Indians... Our IT guy who is chinese is trying to get out of contributing to CDAC... PRs contribute 12% cpf for the 1st yr and 15% on the 2nd then subsequently is the same as us singaporean which is 20%...

Evaluation week...

Monday, today i get to sort the appraisal and increment forms of the employees... Everytime, i encounter finance team i will take their profile out and read hahaha... HR everything also have to keep confidential so mah fan... I guess i am not cut out for HR... So quiet i gonna die liao... Very weird one, i want to get a sales job cos i was thinking since i am young i should try and know more people and if i were to start my biz later i got some sales experience... I ended in a HR job which was what i wanted when i returned from australia haha...

Friday, I finally organise the date for meeting up with uni friends on the 26th feburary 2006... Suppose to be on this sunday but noone settle it so i took it into my hands to finalise it... People on this list: Lisa, Rain, Liwen, Xinyi and Me... Anyone that i miss out?? 1st Accounting Lesson after so long: Keying Payroll again... Guess next will be invoicing...

Saturday, I went to adidas with nick cos there was walk in interview... Thought retail associate is rachel's or christina's job but it turn out as sales assistant... Which was what i thought but cos i ask them and they gave me different answer... Anyway, in the end we never apply and i headed to Kaisheng's... I need him to fix me a cpu... Spend a day sitting there... He says that like i am here today his business is better hahaha...

After that, we went to geylang to eat supper... Its so funny, both of us don't know the way from blastier and this road split into 3 with one stated cte AMK so its wrong but the other 2 never write we chose the furthers which write moulmein road but after stopping cos its red light... 6 sense tells us that its not right and we both said at the same time that i think its the other one... Lucky, the back traffic light is red so we faster reverse and change lane to the other so funny... After 2 rounds at geylang, we can't find the place... I ask him if its this one and he says there is another one... But after another run he says its this one... We were thinking to see chicks after supper but we turn into a very cramp dead end and we weren't the only dumb ones cos a few other cars also came in... We finally saw some after going 2/3 rounds... Before returning, we headed Bishan park and found that the bicycle rental has turned into pub/ billard area... So long never go there le... Kaisheng can't swing high and i laugh at him must be too heavy haha...

Sunday, Went for driving lesson... My dad never buy the p plate so scare if i get caught then my license will be gone...

Chinese New Year...

Official start of my year... Was expecting today to be today boring being a flower vase... But my cousin's gf got us playing bingo and heart attack that it ended quite fun... I thought she was born the same year as me but it ended up she is older then me by 2 yrs... N she play like a kid that my cousin ask her how old is she liao still play until like that cos we were very noisy...

2nd day, my mum is flying brisbane... We were suppose to meet my cousins and god brother family at airport... Yesterday,i was asking my cousins if they want to come over our house before going but today 3 plus we call them and found them all including my god brothers family on the way to the airport without us... Flight is 9 pm and its only 3 plus and we were saying to meet at 6 plus... So we rush to the airport to meet them... We had Sakae sushi before sending my mum off...

Tuesday, stayed at home and did some cooking...

Wednesday, was planning to go to my cousin's but cos of my timing i didn't manage to go...

Thursday, I went to interview for hr post... After that, i went as planned to my cousin's shop... I wasn't thinking i wouldd get the job for hr but they called up and told me to report to work tomorrow...

Friday, first day was pretty boring finding the people there a bit quiet... I was to do up a payroll so that they can calculate the monthly average salary of people in china... These chinese names are so hard to find its not according to the list then i have to put in the people not in the list lucky my chinese isn't that bad... Got weird name call su xing (wake up) i think call yong yuan bu xing (Forever sleeping) better... Hahaha.... Our hr director, very weird she wears cheong sum everyday... HR got a girl called georgina too same as adidas wonder if HR likes to call themselves georgina hahaha... At night, i met Lijuan we went to NYDC for dinner then we went to walk about and saw the chingay...

Saturday, Went to return all the vcds we have at home... At 12 plus, suddenly someone called who??? Kaisheng... He ask if i want to go changi village to see ah gua... Being curious me sure i am on lah... I thought i was the only mountain turtle but it was such a coincidence that another guy on the car also never see before... Both of us are like they look like girls until we walk by 2 ah gua and they started speaking in hokkien vague language then we were like huh... Ended home at 3 plus am... Anyway, mummy not around hahaha....

Sunday, I went to pray at the temple after a short driving lesson from my dad... Finally yesterday, i receive a paper from post office that my license is at the post office but its not open today... Then as i need to go to work so i need to wait till wednesday before i could collect it... Can't wait to see how it will be...

Tuesday, I have no idea...

Wednesday, i went to Chinatown for an interview... I found that i have 2 other friends who went there for interview before but never took up the job so i guess its not that good but the time that they went it was under another company name... I met a girl who studied Psychology by distance learning in sg from another uni in Queensland... I found that as long as i find something similar i can talk to anyone... We talked along the way to find Avocado drink then she went to take photos around while i went to get my avocado drink... But to my disappointment, its open but there wasn't any avocado available... I made another batch of pork floss roll...

Thursday, Mummy came back during lunch... I went to lunch with her and we went NTUC to buy some things...

Friday, busy day... I got up early today... Firstly, i need to get the housework all done before 1 pm so that i can go to Taka to collect the cheese pineapple tarts that we order at 1 pm after which i got to have them send to my mum's office... Cheese pineapple tarts was quite nice... After that, i went to change aussie dollars for my mum... Today, my maths turn out quite good... I went to ask the rate and the 1st said 1.235 = 1 aussie and another 2 is 1.24... So i went to the first and change but she said she got not enough its 100 lagging of the amount i want to change and ask me to come back 1/2 hr later... Then i thought the diff is gonna be 0.50 cents only why should i wait for 1/2 hr and went to the other shop and change...

Saturday, few days ago my dad was very funny i told him i want to boil soup and wanted carrots and know what... He got me only 1 carrot so little... So i went to buy a bag of carrots... Cos i was thinking to make ABC soup which contains potatoes, carrot and tomatoes and another white raddish and carrot soup... One other thing he forgot to get me potatoes... I think if he gonna get most probably he will get me 2 potatoes bah :P ... After very very last minute clearing we went for dinner...

After dinner, we headed to River Ang Bao... My little 13 yr old cousin was very cute... She went to read her horoscope and told me that she has low morale in studies then forget to see this and that and we keep returning to the place to see... She says her peach blossoms gonna open in may... So i tease her that u see so much peach blossoms that's why ur studies morale so low... hahaha...

She bought the i weekly and can practically remember all the good and bad about horoscopes seeing her is like seeing a mirror... When i was her age, i was also interested in all this stuff esp. buying magazines i kept so many of them but eventually i also threw them away though i still have some left in my last room of the house which is also cum storeroom...

Too Forgetful...

Know what i did cos i bought only 2 bunch of sunflowers but my flower vase needs more then that so i have to go buy some more... When i was packing my bag, i purposely left out my bunch of keys so that i need not search for them in my bag later to open the door to go out...

But in a matter of minutes, i totally forgot the keys and locked my room door... When i got to the house door, i realise it but its too late so i got to go down to Tanjong Pagar where mummy is to get spare key from her... Her stupid office lift got so many people getting out on this and that floor that it took so long... That's why i hate going up her office... But no choice...

I think if i keep either losing my keys or locking them in my room in no time she's gonna ask me to make it into a necklace and just tie it to me... Like when i was young i always forget to bring school books and call home crying and my dad will always rush from work and be Mr DHL delivering the books to me... Until one day, my mum got fed up by my forgetfulness and decided to ask me to carry all my books to school so that i won't forget any book... My schoolbag became so heavy from then...

Pork floss stick... Totally in love with Sunflower...

Long long time ago i tried to make pork floss roll but failed... This chinese new year goody is my grandma's speciality... I love the rolls she make every year... I tried again a week or 2 ago and it failed again the skin was too thick and the failed product all went into my darling's (my dog) stomach cos he won't complain... Other then that i also pick up a few other cooking skills from her like making glutinous rice balls, ABC soup, white raddish soup, cucumber soup, congee, barley and etc...

Wednesday, i decided to try again... Never give up for something i like... I succeeded this time round after cutting the skin smaller... In 2 days, i made about 100 over sticks... But in less 5 days its all gone...

Thursday, the photoshop finally called up... At 6 plus, i and Xinyi went to look for the shop at albert court hotel which we had no idea where until i guess its the hotel at the end of the street of Sim Lim... Don't be mistake that i have been to the hotel doing things i shouldn't do... Honestly, I have stayed in a few others but not this one and its not what u might be thinking the ones are all booked by my mum so that during the holiday season we need not go and catch the train and cab back home after celebration... Never expect the photos to be so heavy and i have to carry it from albert court to bugis where we had dinner and shop a bit to gain nothing... When i was returning, the bus i took the cover for the aircon part dropped down for one side of the seats... I choose to sit beside the drop part so that i don't have to worry about being hit by it cos its swinging... There was this auntie that sat down but started to worry that it will hit her so funny... Sorry a bit bad... Lijuan say tomorrow is off cos she fell down and her leg blue black...

Why my pork floss sticks are gone? Ans: I tested some myself, my bro, my mum and i brought about 40 sticks to adidas on friday cos i was meeting my mum at IP which is opposite... Too bad Priscilia left for the day... Got to know that Elsa also missed out on the jelly other then him when Francis commented that jelly was nice... Everyone eat until they forgot about him... I told Elsa that he hasn't had any when there was 3 left...

Saturday, i finally went to buy flowers that i've been wanting to buy to add touch to my house decor... I bought a yellow table cloth weeks ago... So to match it up i bought sunflowers... Now i am totally in love with the bunch of sunflowers i bought... Seeing the sunflower everyday just makes my days shine and smile...

Sunday, i and my mum went to buy cheese pineapple tart cos i heard it over the radio promoting it... While walking up from taka to Robinson some water drop on me... I thought was only a drop but it began to pour and i told my mum its not water its raining... Bright sunshine and its raining... Today's mission is to get chinese new year clothes for my bro as he have spend more then half the money that my dad gave him to buy chinese new year clothing and haven bought a single piece... Finally, we got him 4 tops, 2 shirts, 2 jeans and a pair of shoes...

Life...

Priscilia say that Life is all about money... But i don't think so... I think life is about learning... Money is needed but not the most important... U won't want to be busy earning money and doing repetitive stuff that u become a robot... U don't want to be married to the company cos of the salary and when u are 60 and retired realise that u don't have anyone there for u... U don't want to regret when u lose ur family for not giving them enough care and concern... Or regret not spending enough time with them until u realise that they are gone... Realise that u miss out on getting married, having children when all ur friends have... Care and concern for others cannot be done in a day... Its the putting in of effort everyday...

Tuesday...

Today, I brought my darling Marco to grooming... From morning, i've been running over time... I wanted to bring him there at 11 am but when i called the shop at 10 plus it was not open yet... So in the end by the time i brought him there it was 12 plus... Piscillia called up and say cheque is ready... I thought i will not be able to make it today but later i got an appointment changed to tomorrow so i went to adidas... Guess after today, it might be the last day i step into adidas... I bought along 12 jellies that i made yesterday...

I reach there and found that he is not in i thought he MC... Auditors are here but the girl adeline is nowhere to be seen... At 3 plus i wanted to go but in the end don't know how i sit there till 4 plus then it started to rain... Suddenly, i saw him come back... But jellies have been finished by priscilia after it had gone round the finance team...

Wednesday, i went to try Ben & Jerry's ice cream... When i walk into the shop, i was looking for my favourite green colour peppermint ice cream... To my disappointment, i can't find any green ice cream so i ask the customer service... She showed me to an ice cream that looks like vanilla choco chip but it taste like peppermint ice cream... I ordered a milkshake which cost me $7.90 exp right... So i was paying the branding haha... Anyway since the name was famous i decided to try for at least once... I like to try new things but not too extreme like eyes of animal... If i never remember wrongly i have a friend who told me her mom tried eyes of don't know what animal think was mogolian food... If never remember wrongly, the friend is liwen... I remember that i tried snake soup in hongkong many years back... Thinking of hongkong makes me want to eat their mango dessert and pig's blood which singapore used to have but now no more... Pass by Godiva chocolate shop at raffles link and the chocolate drink caught my eye... Next time, I will go and try that...

Thursday, cannot remember le... Memory very bad...

Last friday, finally got sun shine le... :)... Finally, i got about to buy jelly mix which i keep forgetting... And went to have a lot at shoes cos i haven got myself any shoes for chinese new year... My list of clothes have gone from a dress to a top and 3 skirts as of 16th Jan 2006...

Saturday, My dad gave me driving lesson... I laugh at a tiny car that keeps swaying left and right don't know where is the centre of the lane... And know what, my dad say the car is just the reflection of u driving also sway here and there don't know where u want to go... Then i said cos i seeing the car so i also sway here and there hahaha...

After that, I went to see a new born baby only few hrs old... So cute... His mom after 24 hrs of labour say to her doctor see u next year... Her hubby say she siao one... She is 31 yrs old... She was 55 kg before she had her baby but now she has balloon to 75 kg... But her baby is only 3.1 kg... I was carrying the baby when the nurse say that she need to wrap the baby nicely so that his mom can breastfeed him... She ask me to put him in the crib but then i ask her how to put the baby down... She look at me like i got something wrong... What's wrong with being able to carry him but not putting down? He was pass over by my mom... She took him over so roughly that he begin to cry... Poor thing... We all carry him also don't cry... Seems like she's not very gentle...

Sunday, I decided to do up all my pics from Australia once and for all but after hours of hard work i still have a bit left after 5 - 6 hours and its 1.30 am... I went to buy a new album and got a free gift of a cup... I love the cover althought i don't need so many pages i still cannot not buy it...

Monday, a day without rain when i brought umbrella... Maybe i should start bringing umbrella so that it won't rain and everyone is happy... One person sacrifice better then all mah... I saw a dress at mango going for $73 similar to the dress that i like from fashion lab which cost $79 too bad don't have my size... I went to Robinson but came out empty handed... I forgot to mention i was at city hall so i went to check out HOG'S BREATH CAFE which i had before in Australia... They seems to have the same stuff... Cost for steak is between $29.50 - $34.00... Which upon convertion to Aussie will cost about the same here and there...

After which, which i went to Popular at Bras Basah and found that it had been renovated... Walking up to this fashion, i went to have a look and ended up with a green mini skirt... Now, my CNY skirts got from dress to mini skirt...

After which, i decided to head to Yio Chu Kang SSDC (Singapore safety driving centre) to see if i can get my license converted... I had cold feet when i reach Ang Mo Kio but i decided to go in the end...

Reasons as follows:
1) Earlier know can go and try again as my final theory had expired...
2) My dad's been nagging...
3) I feel that driving without knowing if my license is legal also a bit dangerous...

I reach there and found that i might have forgot to bring something but after a while i realise that i did bring them dumb right... Poor memory lah... The lady ask me something about my date of return and i didn't really catch her and she said she (me)herself also cannot remember... Anyway, i manage to get by and she say i will receive my license in 2 weeks... Hope they don't go and check again or i don't know if i will be so lucky... Keeping my fingers cross, waiting to receive my license in 2 weeks... I think i sms almost everyone that knows about my brissy license and i want to convert it cos i was happy till over the moon... I can't even stop smiling... In hyper mode, i went to clean up the last room (spare room cum store room), wash clothes and finally make the jellys that i been wanting to make...Wonder if i gonna be able to sleep hahaha... Very stupid right... Over the moon over something so small... 容易滿足...

Tomorrow, got to go shopping again... No time liao and i still got stuff haven buy like shoes and tops... I don't see any shoes i like but i should say i also have been picky... I want it white and have straps so it won't drop and cs i have a purple and white dress, blue and white skirt, beign skirt and a green mini skirt (latest purchase)... I've been wanting to buy flowers... I found that i have 8 empty flowers vases at home, i manage to fill 3 of them last friday but that still leaves me with 5 empty flower vases...

Sunday...

Its raining... We met at orchard 12 pm... We went to taka crystal jade to see if got space... The lady who was giving the numbers was not very friendly when we ask how long we got to wait... Singapore employers really should send their employees for service course... Its about 14 people before our turn so we headed to Isetan shaw which we think should have lesser people... I think i got memory problem... I was there 4 days ago and remember that i saw crytal jade but now i have no idea where it is and true enough we need not queue for 14 people but only 2...



After crystal jade, we went to CK tangs where we found an interesting fitting room for the ladies... Cos its raining we decided to go to try TCC...



After TCC, we headed to Taka to walk... At 4 plus Xinyi got to leave cos her friend's brother is marching playing the band so she is going to see but its raining so i also have no idea how they gonna march... After walking around with liwen at taka we headed to wisma and ended home...

Monday went by not remembering what i did...

Today, 5 of us (Sulin, Rain, Liwen, Xinyi and me) are going to yum cha our fave activity in Brisbane... For 4 months, i never yum cha already... I still can remember the very nice egg tart we had at chinatown freshly made... Now i eat all the egg tarts also feel that its not as good as that one... Now i so want to pack all the nice food that i like and bring it back to sg with me...

After yum cha, we went to walk supermarket cold storage at taka and market place at paragon...Also one of our fave activity cos shops close at 5.30 sharp... Coles and Woolsworth are dearly remembered... My cold joke: Coles is cold... Oh did i mention i can say it with a straight face :P ... In Australia, the supermarkets are not as crowded as sg ones and service are faster... But one thing is sg plastic bags are better... We had some experience with the bag breaking while walking home in australia... This is how bad the plastics bags are... We always have to double them up...

Liwen had to leave, sulin is going back home and rain had appointment at night... This leaves me and Xinyi, we went to HMV and headed to Plaza Singapura... After walking for hours, our legs are very suan so we headed to Swensen for early dinner...

Raining...

Its the raining season... Its raining everyday... So damping of spirits... I dislike the rain... I like the sunshine... Sometimes, its good in a while to have rain cos then we no need to worry about water... Plants also need them... Floors also can be cleaned like the mess in orchard after christmas... Till today u can still see some of the spray stuff on the floor or displays...

I wanted to go down to office on thursday cos priscilia need my ic... Actually, i got up pretty early but along the way i fell asleep again... Can't help it after all i came in at 12.30 am the day before and went to bed at around 2 am... I went to watch Narnia with my friend... And it was raining what a nice weather to catch up on sleep... Dreams are always better then real life... Ok Desiree is getting a bit dreamy and unrealistic but that's what dreams are for...

Finally, on friday i went down to office... I met Ken an IT guy from our office at the mrt station... Such a coincidence, that we actually got on the train on the same stop but never see each other until we reach... Karen and Priscilia was pretty surprise to see me... Priscilia mention that she will not allow her daughter to be dress in a miniskirt i wore that day it was the last mini skirt that i bought before returning to SG... I cannot sit with it can only stand... But never mind, cos it was raining wear so long for what its not as if i am going there to work...

Before i left, i returned something to him with present his fave sweets i guess he got sweet tooth always eating sweets or it helps to keep him awake... :P But there was only once when i saw him very tired looking the day he return after exams thursday... When i ask i thought i heard him saying 伤心... He sounds sick that day too but he says that's because he never speak for few days... Weird right where got people don't talk for few days... Tomorrow meeting xinyi and liwen at orchard at 12 pm don't know if i gonna be there on time...

Wanted to bring my cousin to school today... I brought her 6 yrs ago when she went to primary 1 and she fell sick the 1st day... What i didn't know was that school starts at 7.15 am so early... Her desiree jeh jeh really long time never go to school so early already... I got up at 6.20 manage to kick myself out of the house at 6.50 but i got caught in the morning jam and by the time i reach she already went into assembly hall... My aunt waited for me outside her school which was my secondary school once... We went to have a look then we left at 7.30... Afterwhich, i bought back breakfast...

So tired... I went to post letters with my darling doggy but he seems very lost today and he actually knock himself straight in the face into the post box...Ouch... but it was so funny... I found that i got a lot of things waiting for me to do but i haven started i wrote a list last week but i still haven finish cos i am always doing everything else... But never mind, i got the time in the world... Maybe its this thinking that's why things aren't done... Anyway, people don't give u credit for things that u do but on the other hand they will nag when they see things undone... So unfair right... But this is just how human beings are...

My mum gave me a business idea yesterday night and ask me to write up a business plan... Search the whole library at home and found that i left my entrepreneurship textbook in aussie... I thought i brought it back... ??? ... I also notice that i have a communication textbook which i carried back my mum have the exact copy... Such a coincidence right mother and daughter use the same text... Because the book was publish years and years ago... If i have known, i won't be so dumb to bring it back... It cost weight esp books... Funny thing was she can't recognise her book and mistake mine for hers and keep saying its her until i show her her copy...

Back to my business plan...Went to the library to borrow some books on how to write a business plan... The ones that i manage get my hands on are: Anatomy of a Business plan and Successful business planning in 30 days...I am not good in writting it cos the last time i did a business plan i only manage a pass...I hope that i can start and finish this project cos as i will always be thinking that i have all the time in the world until my mum comes and ask where's her business plan that i was suppose to give her... Maybe the 30 days book will come in very handy for me... I am someone who sees the big picture but don't know how to get there... I need someone where can teach me see the steps so that i can walk towards the big picture...

New year New resolutions...

Went to see fireworks at esplanade to count down to the New year... My official 2006 started today on 2nd January 2006 instead of 1st January 2006 cos i found that i have left something behind in my year 2005... I wanted to leave it behind on wednesday but on 1st Jan i decided that i can't leave it in 2005... I need to do something to make myself move into 2006 with a blank paper... So in the end, i set myself to make it so that i am able to move forward to 2006...
