UpDaTeS oN mY BeAuTiFuL wOrLd AfTeR lAsT DaY...

I love myself more every minute... I am so glad i am off my previous job... I went for 3 interviews yesterday... I hope that either the 1st one or the 3rd one can get... But i prefer the 1st one... 2nd one can don't think about it... The environment doesn't look good also...

One person ask me what is my passion? I said life is my passion... I don't know what lies ahead makes it interesting... Sometimes u can't wait to find out sometimes u just don't want to know... I can breath everyday is something to be happy about cos some people just went to sleep and never get up... I like to look at the bright side on things... I just have this happy go lucky thing in me i think... I have wonderful parents who don't restrict me on what i do and would give me all the financial support they can if i need...Like my uni studies... Sometimes they will give some advice but i believe that my own decision my own responsibility and so its my life... That's how i quit without a job...My own decision to quit, my responsibility to find myself a new job...

At home, i have been watching Goong S and having discussion every nite about the funny parts... Its quite funny at parts but the linkage of the family tree of the royals like a bit messy from the part 1 of goong where its like simpler... This one don't know who is who... Anyway, as long as we know who like who can liao haha... There is this guy who's parents are up to no good but i don't think he is bad except for he really look like 变态 especially when he has his thick black rimmed glasses on...

Today, I met XY for lunch passing her disc to watch Goong S... She so ke lian cannot find EP 5 on you tube with chineses subtitles then chance upon vietnam version also watch then cannot understand a word... Since i got the disc i burn and lend her watch... Now i am waiting for her to catch up... I am at disc 9 and she is still at disc 6... So slow...

After that, i went orchard... I walked OG, robinson and metro but nothing i like... Or what i wanted don't have... I miss out Isetan... Tml can go hahaha.... When i was at Metro, this guy approach me gave me his namecard and say a bunch of something which i never really hear properly... Cos i was listening to radio... I think it got to do with some modeling assignment ask me go his office n hear more about it when i am free... Then he ask for my number so that he can contact me then so heng my phone ring... Then i tell him if i am interested then i will call him... He mention that people say will call but never call... Whatever lah its not my problem if they don't call right... Tell me for what... What if i give liao then they keep calling won't that be vv fan... I must protect myself mah... He did say they won't keep calling if i am not interested... But who believes u... I may look easy to bluff but i am not that dumb to give my number to any tom, dick or harry...

FiNaLlY lAsT dAY + HaRrY PoTtEr...

Today, i gave my room a clean wipe... Clearing whatever for my new challenges ahead... Fresh new start... I found Wendy aunty vcds still at my home i forgot to return her... So forgetful... Never mind, we should be having an upcoming bbq then i must remember to return her... I inivited our grandma along so we need to postpone it till end of aug as she will be away till then... I finally get to watch Harry Potter... I am agreeing on the side that its not as nice as the previous ones...

The day before last day, i met XY for lunch at Sakae Sushi... See our pizza and my fav hana maki... We also had other stuff, eat until so full gonna burst liao...





My last day... I wrap sweets and chocolates for everyone... Wrapping wasn't vv easy as it was in odd shape... I bought and gathered 8 kinds of chocolates and sweets... We went to sketches for lunch... Aileen was so nice to make 2 piece of paper with everyone's face on it and they wrote words behind it... I am so glad i never cry...

Harry Potter + Nokia + Blur Me + Doctoring accounts...

This morning i purposely wake up at 9 am wanting to go buy Harry Potter new book ended up i laze around too much till the weather started to rain... In the end, i went out at 1 pm... But luckily, i still manage to get a copy haha... Ok i confess that i cheated by reading the ending first haha... Now i am not in a rush to read the book already haha...

After that, i decided to bring my phone to nokia service centre only to realise that this trip it will go on a 3 days 2 night holiday... Luckily, i got my old one for spare... But i want back my new one... I don't like the old one... I should be thankful that i have an old one for use but i am complaining about not liking it anymore due to the fact that the new one looks prettier and have more functions... In easy words i am 喜新厌旧... Why its on holiday? Cos few days ago i realise that i can't hear the other party when i receive the call... I also don't know what happen when i came back from taipei also nothing wrong and i don't remember dropping it recently... Although due to my clumsiness, it fell a few times in the past...

After that, i drop at Toa Payoh and paid our dear Liwen a visit at her work place... She says she's so tired... Poor thing... She asked me what i want to do after this job then i told her i think recruitment is interesting n might look for something in that area... Haha she too want to change occupation... Finance isn't that fun in the end...

After that, i was going back from Toa Payoh i was suppose to take the side to Bishan but i don't know why i never see or what... The side that i waited for the train is the wrong side... I still went to find the door 16 which will stop at the escalator at bishan... I only realise that i was at the wrong side when i heard Novena... No wonder i was wondering how come the train so long also haven reach bradell... Blur...

I may look quiet n more indoor but my working personality is a bit different... I like the aspect of meeting people and talking to clients in my present job... But i dislike the boring checking and a lot of paper work... I think i will be more satisfied helping people find jobs then helping people draw up their statutory accounts...

One thing you will learn from our co... Is how to doctor the accounts... Soon we will all not be auditors and be doctor of accounts... We have some weird clients that accounts few years never do then they don't even have the basic trial balance, profit and loss account and balance sheet... Suddenly, ask u to draw up their accounts to file... No figures ask us follow the previous year numbers that is available... Then u doctor the new year figures urself till the year they want...

The reasons that i am so out of cash in Taipei....

I never buy for myself only... 1st row from the left... Key chains for a few of my cousins, siblings n colleagues... 3 tops for my mummy... 2nd row from the left... Chocolates and sweets... A pair of sheep also from sweet shop and belt also for mummy... 3rd row from the left... 2 tops, 4 pair of socks and a pair of shoes for my bro... A toy and something to wear for my baby... Lucky i got the bigger one if not my baby sure cannot fit when i went to the shop i tell the sales gal my baby neck like the bubble tea cup so big cos i was drinking bubble tea... Hahaha... A top for daddy... Not sure his size so only buy one... He say this for young people wear one but i say brown colour ok what...



Now to mine... Hehehe...

Last Day 8: Shopping n JJ Lin...

Yesterday, we called our hotel lobby lady to book for us airport transfer... Going back cost us NT 140... She told us to catch the bus at 2.40 pm... We went but our flight is at 6.25 pm n we check in already... No need to go there so early... We singaporean usually get to the airport 1 hr ahead of flight not 4 hours ahead of flight... But she told us that's the only available... So we got no choice...

I've been eyeing the mango mousse opposite our hotel for days but haven got the chance to eat it... This morning, after quick breakfast we went to get it cos we still have some time before check out... Anyway, we also have to refund our MRT card and no shops is open at 10 am other then the bakeries... We were lucky that we found the sweet shop open... But i haven had the chance to give out my sweets to those intended... Now i kind of think maybe i shouldn't have gotten them sweets but something elses...



Last night packing of bags was so funny... We kept laughing at each other...I came with one bag and ended up with 2, she came in 2 bags n ended up 3... Its like back in brissy where we both have to pack and return... I always tell XY don't worry if ur bag cannot close there is always me i will sure find a way to pack for u to close... Just like how i manage to pack mine... Hahaha... Oh we saw JJ's qian chang hui... So many people queuing... What's with us last 2 days then we get to see Ming xin... Ok we should count our lucky stars to see few instead of none at all... Shouldn't be too greedy... 简单就是幸福... We went pass the toliet bowl restaurant again and took some pics... See the yellow top gal i circled at JJ's qian chang hui... She is so excited about seeing him but he like cool cool one never response vv well...



We shop shop shop until last minute never even had lunch... We had legend bubble tea thou... Actually, we wanted to go the toliet bowl restaurant but it was full house... We were suppose to reach back hotel at 2.40 pm but last min XY decided to check back to a shop that she took a liking to a dress on the first day... It was going on offer then at 400 plus but now its 900 plus... She didn't want to try but to prevent regrets, she went to try n bought it in the end... This shop the clothes cutting quite big i tried one dress too but s is still quite big... That XY say try L then ended up s also can wear... But in the end, she went for the m, not so tight... We weren't suppose to have to run for bus but cos that idiotic salesman took the wrong piece 3 times until the other sales gal say i go and find... N to think i told him we were in a hurry... Stupid idiot... When we reach lobby, we found our lobby lady anxiously waiting for us... So we faster transfer our luggages to the bus and off we went to the airport... She was right about the timing cos that Tao Yuan Airport is really far... When we got there its already 4 plus...

Nothing much to do outside except for trying to see who is holding red passport like us... We decided to go in... Walk some of the duty free... I went to ask a sales lady if they have elizabeth arden comestic around and she ask where are we heading to holiday... I told her we were heading home then she say but ur chinese sounds vv correct... I guess i sound like taiwanese cos my friends usually say i sound vv thay... But i think only when i speak in chinese... When i was temping there was this friend who once said hearing you talk can get drunk...



After photo taking session around the airport and eyeing for anyone with the same passport as ours... We decided to eat something... Cos our stomachs are complaining... So we ended with this for our last meal in Taipei before heading back home...



Ended up, i never got any elizabeth arden comestic but at sg airport i bought my fav calvin klein eternity moment perfume...

Last but not least... I want to say Thank you vv much to XY for taking almost all the pictures on the trip... Bringing the directions for our destinations... Sorry you hardly get to rest with me around not wanting to sit in the hotel and just watch a bit of tv... N only with me that she will shop till the last min...

Day 7: I sAw MiNg DaO + FeRr|s WhEeL...

Early in the morning, we went to the lobby and ask the counter lady where we can change money... To our horror, its 4 streets away... Not every bank can change... See my face waiting for the counter... They provide lao hua glasses for old folks so nice... I think taiwan government are nice to elders... Have priority seats in mrt for elders, now banks also provide glasses for them...



After that we headed to find a temple near the taipei main station... Ai yo the map really lousy... Had us walking in the wrong directions... Suppose to head Yang Ming Shan after that we went to taipei main station underground shopping cos its near the place we should take bus... Then i bought a pair of shoes for my bro there... Thinking if we should still head Yang Ming Shan with the pair of shoes cos its a bit mah fan to carry and hotel is only one station away... We decided to drop off the shoes n have lunch before heading there... On the way back, since i bought my bro's shoes i shall also search for a sports shoe that i like... On the course, we spotted another toliet bowl restaurant at Xi Meng Ding... And eventually, we did not head Yang Ming Shan at all... Cos after lunch at Tamago ya...



Guess who we saw filming show... We were headed for hotel waiting to cross the road when i saw this guy opposite quite a distance away looking like Ming Dao... Then i told XY that guy looks like ming dao... Xy was like r u sure? So far how to see? I say really he looks like Ming Dao... The closer we walk she starts to agree with me... I got Ming Dao radar haha... She saw Meng Zhe... She like 5566 but now they are gone with the wind she changed to fly wheel sea already... Poor Meng Zhe... During their break, i went up to Ming Dao and ask him if i can take a photo with him but he say he cannot take photo n shook our hands... Now i wish i have given him my number or gotten his number...



After that we headed for mirama ferris wheel... Know what song the is it playing inside... Of so many thousand millions or trillons songs available... They are playing... Killing me softly... Hahaha...




Ended the day, wanting to go DS restaurant only to find it full house and have to check back few hours later... But we got some pics while waiting to see if there are available space... We headed for Shilin Night market to eat Ice instead...

Day 6: Jiu Fen + Zhong Xiao Dong lu super boring...

10 am plus, we went to taipei railway station... So lucky to be in time for train departing in few minutes... Faster buy tickets and rush for the platform... Train came but we had no idea if its the one... We went to ask someone and he say this one... We also asked take how long scare we take until never drop... He say about 40 mins... Got on the train then realise... Die liao no mrt that kind of map... Not only so the voice telling the stops also cannot hear properly... There is no board that says this is which stop... So we keep looking around... There was this taiwanese guy who saw us looking and ask us where we were going then we said jiu fen and told us how many stops... And we did some chatting... He thought we were still in school... We really look so young huh... He was on his way back home to Yilan...







We bought a lot of food stuff for home and office to eat there... We say not gonna carry them again... Cos it takes up a lot of space in our luggage and its heavy... Or we should get guys to help carry... It reminds me of an incident... XY's friend came to visit when we were in australia with her colleague... This colleague is guy thought they are couple but it wasn't... This guy vv gal wear XY's fluffy slippers and his own hairband... Last day, this guy take early flight back while her friend take night flight cos the crazy guy take different airline... See the friend cannot carry already... The guy not much things also never offer to help her... Worst when ask him to carry the stuff for their office people back for her he say his luggage heavy... When its like vv small and light... This kind of guy also have...

After depositing our stuffs back at hotel... We decided to go Zhong Xiao Dong Lu... We had MOS burger... Once we saw a gal's blog saying there are cheese in their burgers but we can't find any... Bluff us... Sad...

There is underground shopping mall n so many sogos there... Turn ur head and see one Sogo... Sogo aircon really cold then not much people... After being at the night markets and wholesale, i guess we are more use to the 热闹 places with more people and the cheaper prices tag seeing that its day 6 we are almost dry wells... See cannot buy anything... Super sianz... This is the day i never even buy a piece of clothing... So boring... After a while, we went to ask the mrt station help desk if there are any night markets around to no available... I tell XY go back scold my friend there got nothing to see waste my leg effort and super sianz...

Day 5: Taiwan Uni n Wu Fen Pu trip 2...

This morning, we saw a crazy guy braving the heat wearing jacket trying to shoot MTV... Had no idea who he is n what song he is singing... Hahaha... After that, we headed to 台大 @ Gong Guan station... Wow, the uni is really big... We walk until legs sour... The place besides the uni got a lot of shops... Shopping time again...



After the shops @ Gong Guan... 2nd trip n last trip to Wu Fen Pu... Lu Rou Fan again... One thing happen will make us remember the trip for Wu Fen Pu for life... Fristly, Wu Fen Pu the shops looks identical then its like 4 streets horizontal and vertical... Like this sign #... Shops if pass already vv hard to find... XY took a liking to this top, u will see the top in the pic of last day... The sales gal wasn't vv friendly... So she decided not to buy... I told her if don't buy later will regret... She tell me she won't... But i regret not forcing her to buy... Know what happen... After a while, she started thinking about the top and say if she find the shop sure buy... But by the time, we can't remember the way already... Only remember the concept...

Taking a break, We went to Rao He night market nearby... Had nice mangoes ice but the mosquitoes really bad bite me... so itchy... We need to pass by Wu Fen Pu to get back to MRT to back home... I told her we go find... I am just so the 不放气 type cos i am sure with me can find the shop... hehehe... We treasure hunt the shop for more then 1/2 hr when we walked the whole day... When XY was about to give up and go back... I suddenly tell her maybe we too tired... Overlook the shop... N know what we just walk pass the actual shop like 3 shops n we never went into those shops 2nd time while we went into countless shops 2nd time thinking it was it... Finally, found and that ends our that day... She is happy with her top, i am happy with helping her find... Althought, we walked a lot...

Day 4: Theme restaurants + Water Theme Park...

This morning, we went chiang kai shek memorial...



Lunch is at Swing theme restaurant... The food wasn't vv nice... After that, we headed to Water Theme Park cost us NT 620... We went that almost 4 pm but i also got a bit dark... But it was fun... Miss the fantasy island, we had years ago at Sentosa...



Toliet theme restaurant... Bump into it by incident... We found that there is one at Xi Meng Ding while we were exploring it few days later...

dAY 3: HoT sPrInGs n Yu ReN mA ToU...

Early in the morning, we were going to find the soyabean shop for breakfast... Only to our disappointment that we were 20 mins late... We got lost mah... Don't know where the place also... They close at 10.30... We found the stall at 10.50 am... We had breakfast somewhere else instead... Later then we realise the shop that we had breakfast had a lot of outlets around... After breakfast, we went to shop a bit see my pic below got plastic bag hahaha... Then we headed to hot springs...



XY says got shuttle bus to hot spring but at the station there was hardly anything... We saw that there was a museum for hot spring n public hot spring... We decided to check them out... To our disappointment, museum is closed, hot spring is really open... Have to find somewhere to change then go in but we have no idea where and its outdoor under the hot sun... So we went to ask someone in the hot spring library... Library really good strong air con... They told us that the street that we were looking for is few streets away... Then heavens is kind on us having spot one hot spring resort opposite the library and we decided to check into that...It cost NT 699 each with tea provided and we can opt for private cos there is 2 of us... Tea was like few course... They provided us with drinks, 茶果, main course, fruits and green bean soup... So many things...





Headed for dan shui after hot spring... We went to the 老街... We found snoopy shop... I like snoopy... We also found Hello Kitty shop... XY like Hello Kitty...



Was suppose to go yu ren ma tou to see sun set... Ended up we were there to see moon n stars... hahaha... Cos we walk n shop at the 老街 till 8 plus... Actually, don't want to go already but since we are there we went... See bus driver on the left side...

DaY 2: Xi Meng Ding + CTS + Wu Fen Pu...

Xi Meng Ding... Where we called our home for a week... XY vv weird keep saying go back office... She think of office too much... How come she never say go back manors?? Our home in brisbane...

Sun Yat Sen so nice help me hold my handbag... Hehehe... See Baby Me is melting in the heat... Can still smile leh... Ice cream here we come...


Lunch at corner of Wu Fen Pu after a full meal... Shopping time... After that more shopping went to Shi Lin night market and had super horrible bitter gourd... I'm not drinking that again... Ice soyabean curd and the chicken was nice...

DePaRtInG sG... 30th JuNe 2007...

We met with turbulence on the flight... The plates fly up a bit... So scary... I did say i don't want to come back but not haven reach Taipei and not come back... I ask XY if she think of anyone when turbulence and she said noone... Poor Ah Hao pity him... For me: Its secret... My little secret... Its for me to know only...

XY say lucky take SQ if Jetstar don't know if anything will happen... I tell her later we got to swim there... I just realise that my swimming skills are failing... I can hardly keep myself a float when i can do it in the past... I haven been to the pool for many many years ok... How i know my skills are failing cos i went to water theme park and tried to swim a bit n realise that skills broke down... Haha... Dreaming of the water now...


Departure... I got up at 6 am... Daddy send me there at 6.30 am... Last min cannot find lock for my luggage... Lucky, XY got spare... Thanks so much to XY's mummy who found one for me... Always forget this n that... Hehe...


Transfer on Fei gou to hotel doorstep cost 135 NT... Their airport and city is so far away...


Hotel... Our 1st bubble tea n Ah zhong mee sua for tea break... Legend bubble tea is really good...


Our 1st dinner @ 101... Suppose to take shuttle bus there but no bus in sight so we went to ask an auntie... She told us can walk there rather then wait for bus ended up it was a long walk... So the way back we became smarter n take bus...

MakIng AlBum...

I am gonna start on my new project... Taipei album... I started making albums from HongKong after which came Korea, Melbourne, Brisbane and New Zealand... Brisbane album took me the longest time... I usually bring back the brochures and cut and paste the pics with my pics... This is the 7th Album... Being the days in Brisbane taking up 2 albums... This is how my albums look like...

I am back in town... I hate to be back... XY says i came back with the way taiwanese speaks... When i went to ask a sales gal in Taipei airport where i can find something, she thought i was taiwanese asking me where i am heading to holiday... I told her that i am going back home... She lookS pretty shock when i said that... Saying my chinese sounds vv accurate... That was incident 2... Incident 1...When i ask the bus driver to tell us where we should stop the day before... He look at me like how come i don't know where... I guess he also think i am local... Until we brought out the map, that he realise that i wasn't local... I found that the way they talk is a bit round, vv thay and always got the orr at the back... Boys also talk like that... Usually at shops, they will say 慢慢看喔... 小心上楼喔...

We had a total walking holiday... Tiring out our poor legs by walking 9 plus to 10/11 at night... Our legs should look prettier now having excerise for a week the fats should be gone with the wind... Haha... If don't walk sit in hotel also vv sianz... The thing is if one day we never buy anything we will go i am so sianz... Even when we are out of cash... We went to zhong xiao dong lu one night and never bought anything super sianz...

Taipei really got a lot of stairs not only so we can hardly find any chairs around for us to sit not like singapore shopping centres... They have shopping spread out in the streets... Trash can also hard to find... I wonder if they eat up their rubbish... Haha...
