Didi passport n upcoming trip

May went like a breeze and now we are at the end of the month... Didi has gotten his passport on just this Tuesday... I applied for it a week ago but no news of it getting approve... I remembered the last time I got mine I was so amazed at how fast it was less then a week...

Since we are going for a short trip to jb on 27 may 2018 for 2 nights... I went down to ICA on Tuesday with baby, his birth certificate and passport photo... We were there at 10.45 am and gotten it at 1.20 pm... Less then 3 hrs I reckon it would have been earlier then 1.20 pm if we were to return from lunch and walking around earlier as the lady told us it will be ready by 1.45 pm... Thus we have walk around the area after lunch but it started raining thus we return to wait but it's ready... This is how efficient we are... Of anything to be proud of being Singaporean is how efficient we are...

Now with the passport down it's down to planning transport and packing luggage... Stay tune for the reviews on the new service apartment we are going to stay at n paradigm mall...

The long weekend - National Gallery

 

Gor Gor school is closed on Monday so he is having a super long weekend... Sat was spend with a trip to timezone and library...

 

Sunday morning, he was still excited about going to Sunday School Party but it turns to be a crying episode when he reach there and he says he wants to go home. In the end, we have to sit in the party...

 

Monday, we went to the National Gallery to have some fun see pictures  below. It has changed a lot since we last went last year...

 

 

Avengers

Avengers the hottest Movie in town... Was planning to watch it on Monday but we receive a msg from school that Monday they are closed and so we change our plans last minute to watch today... Oh the movie is almost 3 hr long inclusive of advertisement... Visual effects are quite good... The list of who worked in the production is forever long that explains why the movie is so costly to make... They even have chefs for the production...

What am I gonna entertain the big one with for 4 days??? Saturday??? Sunday, I am still trying to convince him to go to Sunday School Party then Monday??? Tuesday???

Root Canal Part 2

Wednesday, I got my root canal 2nd part done... Next will be crowning next week...

Thursday, I went to check my pupil but nothing is wrong and since its so expensive to pursue further which will be to a check on my brain and doc says its probably I am born like that we will leave it as it is...

LeNu Chef Wai's Noodle Bar (Northpoint City)

As I was walking into Northpoint City, someone gave out a pamphlet with a 1 for 1 noodles for LeNu... Its under the Paradise Group but note that you cannot accumulate any points there as they do not charge service charge... I had the beef soup with Wagyu, tendons and beef slice... Soup is slightly too salty...

This week

This week went like a breeze... Monday bring didi for a swim but unfortunately he was not in a good mood to swim... So he was crying down the house or shop at the end of it...

Tuesday, we went for a long walk for lunch walking all the way to the hospital n back...

Didn't do much on Wednesday...

Thursday, I went for an eye check as my left eye vision seems to see rays of street lights at night worst then my right thou the astigmatism is lower then my right... So I see the light as a star with rays on my left n only a star on my right... Spend 2 hrs checking but eventually yield nothing which I am not sure consider good or not... At least my eyes r healthy but it cannot explain why my left vision is worst then my right... Doc say might got to do with pupil being bigger then normal n shines more rays of light...

Friday, was spend at home...

Comes Saturday, we met my mil n went to I12 Katong cos the play area at city square has moved there... The parking fee there was ridiculous the first time it was almost 8 dollars for about 3 hrs but weirdly this time round it was 2 plus dollars n we got it free as we redeemed car park coupon from our spend at lunch...

Sunday, we just took a bus ride to North point for lunch... Tried the new steamboat at Xin Wang... They say the soup was boiled 8 hrs but it's still a bit bland... After which we went to Timezone to top up our card as they were having the 30 top up free 30 credits that day means we play all games at half price super worth it...

Safra Toa Payoh Kidamaze

We went to safra toa payoh... Kidamaze is having this offer of 5 times for $40 for 2 adult n a child entry... Good offer as it makes 8 dollars per entry... But they say baby needs to pay too... Its a bit ridiculous he is only 5 months old barely can sit without support or even crawl... What can he play? N the most ridiculous is the age they start for collecting payment of entry is 2 months old... What can a 2 month old play??? I think they should revised the age that they are collecting entry fees for... Maybe start at the age where the babies can crawl... I don't see what they have for a 2 months old to until those can crawl to play...

Root canal

On Wednesday, I went to get a root canal done as my teeth decay was hitting the nerve... I have just mend it in December... Doc says that I can eat like at 2 plus but until evening 6... I was still spilling out water when I drink due to the numbness... Btw, I still feel a bit of numb the next morning...

I got a missed call from Mount Alvernia while I was fixing the tooth... They asked me to go collect my health screening report... Omg... So fast... What's wrong? So I gonna pick it up on Thursday...

Thursday came and I went early to pick the report up... Lucky it was nothing serious likely the sample was not accurate... My hubby always laugh at me saying that I always gt something wrong with my report as previously when I did health screening I also gt called up early... I remember it says that my potassium in blood is too high but I did a retest at a clinic after that it was fine...

Friday, now it's his turn to be called up to collect report early haha... So much for laughing at me...

Saturday was spend mostly at home as my breast is clogged n I try to pump the whole morning to get rid of it... Why not get baby to suck you may ask cos my baby is a stubborn fellow who pretty much has his mind of his own... N he is only 5 months old... If he doesn't want to drink any milk, he will just push it away or refuse to open his mouth no matter how we try... He also doesn't like the pacifier... If we feed him the pacifier, he will make a vomit expression like it's so yucky... Vv funny... Finally, when my breast is unclog ged it starts to rain... So much so for going out... Eventually, we did make our way to North point after the rain stopped... Had London Duck for dinner but the duck was too oily... N it was served cold not hot... The char siew n roast pork was nicer although also cold... Don't think I will eat the duck again but I don't mind having the char siew...

Health screening...

Went to Mount Alvernia to do health screening Tuesday morning... Went there at 8.45 am only finish about 1 pm...

Had my first mammogram... What is a mammogram? Its the x-ray of the breast...  I heard it's pretty painful to get a mammogram... So I was scared when a lady told me she was gonna bring me to do it... I told her I was breastfeeding so she say she will go gentle but milk still spill a bit hehe n the experience wasn't that bad it wasn't as painful as imagine...

Monday

Today is the start of the week? Wondering what should I achieve this week? I've gt
4 days of this week planned... Great...

Monday is usually the day for supermarketing... Below is a pic of my baby before we hit the mall...

I started him on cereal about 2 weeks back... Ok he is only 21 weeks not yet 6 months... Why am I starting him early, you might ask as we are taught to only start at 6 months... I've read a book that says to start between 20 to 24 weeks n I cannot resist not trying when he is so interested in food rather then milk... We have a hard time just to get him to finish his milk everyday... On the other hand, I did not have any problem like this from his brother... His brother just loves milk...Btw, I don't feed him cereal for a full meal but rather few table spoons a day... 

Firstly, I started him on Friso wheat based cereal which was a sample from the baby weaning class I went few weeks ago... Bad choice... He had what I think is slight diarrhea after having it... Now I have switch it to heinz creamy oat porridge... N the slight diarrhea stopped... The creamy oat porridge has a vv nice milky smell which I like... 

Hollin

Hollin a new bubble tea shop at Toa payoh... The special of this bubble tea is there is a different flavour of pearls everyday in addition to a normal honey flavoured pearl... N did I mention that it's freshly made in shop... You can see someone making the pearls just beside the counter to order... As I went on a Sunday, it's fresh rock salt pearls which as it's named taste a bit salty... Now some pictures of the black tea latte I've got...

I found my blog after 9 years...

Unbelievable after 9 plus years my blog is still here... Reading a few past entries and realise how much time has changed...

I can no longer remember what I have written in the past neither can I remember why I stop blogging...

Anyway... Many things happen over the years... Good or bad... Happy or sad... Let me realise that life is short... One turn of eyes n it's been almost 13 years since I finished uni... Where have this 13 years gone?

Let’s move on to 2018... I am a believer of moving on rather then dwelling in the past... There is nothing we can change of the past unless you have some time machine to go back which is impossible as of now..

Now in 2018, I am married since 2012 and have 2 little boys who are 4 and 4 months plus...
